Club Membership
We have two types of membership: Full and Associate.
Full Club Members receive the following benefits:
- Access to our excellent value summer training sessions.
- Access to our exciting winter white water courses.
- Free paddling on the various club trips - estuary trips, coastal trips, barbecues, surf trips, and the chance to spend the occasional weekend away - Tryweryn, Hay-on-Wye or North Cornwall for example. All members are encouraged to attend these trips and excursions. (See the 2011 programme for examples from last year.)
- Free monthly pool sessions.
- Free use of club boats and kit.
(The club reserve the right to refuse equipment hire if it's thought that the paddlers or equipment may be at risk.) - A monthly newsletter delivered straight to your inbox!
Assoicate Club membership (£18) is for paddlers who only want to attend the various official club trips using their own kit and not wanting to attend pool sessions or any training sessions.
As part of trying to be an inclusive club which promotes paddling you don't have to be a member to browse our website, join the forums, read the newsletters, join the Yahoo! group, or attend peer group trips & events.
To join the club for the summer or winter training sessions, first contact Paul Rutherford or Julie Perren at to confirm availability of spaces and date for the next club training session. Then print and complete one course form and one adult or junior membership form per person. Please send the forms and a cheque for the correct amount to:

Cheques should made payable to "Totnes Canoe Club".
Late joiners can also bring their completed forms and cheque along to their first training session.
