I started kayaking at Exeter Haven Banks, where I did my Paddlepower Discovery Award in 2012. I joined Totnes Canoe club the following year, completed my 1 star award in 2013, my 2 star in 2014 and my Level 1 Paddlesport Instructor award in 2018. During the winter months I enjoy the white water of the Dart and have gained experience from peer trips on other local rivers. Summer months bring the chance to paddle with the club on rivers and estuaries, and of course there is always time to have some fun at Bantham in the surf and rock-hopping around Burgh Island.

At TCC I assist on courses for adults and junior paddlers during the summer season in kayaks and open canoes. I also help regularly at the monthly pool sessions.
