This course is for any members who do not hold the Paddle UK WWSR qualification and who wish to partake in White Water Coached and Led events, this is a great refresher course for those who have previously attended this event

About the Event
The days event is designed to give members new to the White Water world an insight into the basic safety and rescue tecniques required in the world of white water kayaking. The day will be run by Rob Dack assisted by Charles Mitchel (both are Paddle UK qualified white water coaches).
Even if you have attended this event previously but do not hold the Paddle UK WWSR qualification the day will serve as a great refresher.
Expect to get wet, as the day will involve you getting in the water for varios rescue scenarios.A wet suit or dry suit will be required for the water session in the afternoon, warm clothes to put on following the water session. The morning will be taken up with dry land scenarios.
Please also bring a packed lunch and warm drink.
