TOTNES CANOE CLUB WHITE WATER CLINIC
The new TCC White Water Clinic will start this October 2025. Sessions in the clinic will be geared to specific levels to suit participants.
Levels proposed are as follows:-
1 Introduction to white water, these will be aimed at participants that are new to white water. The fundamental white water kayaking skills will be introduced and taught in these sessions.
2 White Water Award Skill, these sessions will be aimed at participants being comfortable on grade 1/2 water and working to the paddleUK White Water Award. You will aim to learn the skills necessary to have an enjoyable day on the river. Topics to be covered will include trip planning, Equipment Knowledge, WW kayaking Skills and safety and Rescue Skills.
3 Intermediate Paddling, We will be making the jump to Grade 3 WW paddling in these sessions. All sessions will take place in the Grade 2/3 environment,…
